What do you use for shading? A gray marker/sketch-pen? Are you basically using only 3 materials when doing this – paper, black pen, and the shading utensil?
Hey Geetali, I’m using Faber-Castell Pitt pens, the S and XS for linework and the super-light colored grays for the tones: cold grey I 230 and warm grey III 272. Sometimes I use a water-soluble pen and a water-pen.
Just thought I’d pop in and say that I’ve been reading for a couple of months now–i absolutely love this blog! I so look forward to it showing up in my reader. 😉
I read the article on, um, How, I guess. I can’t recall the source, however, the title is hard to forget: Kid tested, Designer approved. I’ve been hooked ever since! 🙂
