Kid + Pet = Lunch Post [Updated]

We’ve been promising the Boy a pet for ages, and he’s losing patience with us. Between allergies and limited square footage in our little Brooklyn apartment, it’s been easy to drag our heels, but a visit to the shelter is imminent. I wonder what the kid has in mind….
