Before and After Experiment…Updated

Today’s Lunch Post is an experiment. It’s a short week coming up, only three days of school, then Christmas. For this abbreviated week I’m going to try posting “before” Lunch Posts, with only my contribution, in the morning. In the afternoons I’ll put up “after” pieces, completed. We’ll see what happens.

Today’s celebrates the recent loss of another tooth. I’m really happy The Boy still believes (or chooses to believe) in the Tooth Fairy. This kid was born a skeptic, and doubts anything that betrays even a hint of belief in supernatural things. BUT he still believes in Santa and the Tooth Fairy. I have to think he’s weighing the possibilities and deciding he gets more pleasure out of believing in these gift-giving spirits. Maybe he’ll betray himself with today’s Lunch Post….
