There is no question that my wife is the grown up in the family. So I was looking forward to being the “fun uncle” indulgent dad. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite work out that way.

Second day of third grade in a new school/new state!
I’m so impressed by my son’s adaptability, his confidence, his happy soul. Dropping him off this morning, his second day of third grade in a new school, with new kids, in a new state, I was so proud of how strong he is in himself. What a cool kid. I just had to say that in public.
